Experience

Joc has over 35 years’ experience across the mining and minerals industry. He was the Chief Executive Officer of The Mosaic Company, the world’s leading integrated producer and marketer of concentrated phosphate and potash, from August 2015 to December 2023. He also served as President of Mosaic until recently and previously held roles there including Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to this, he was President of Australia Pacific at Barrick Gold Corporation, leading gold and copper mines in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Joc is known for his deep knowledge of the mining industry and his track record of driving cost-curve competitiveness and operational resilience in global extractive markets.
